The new Inspire 3 features a streamlined design that focuses on reducing air resistance for improved aerodynamics. It has an improved maximum dive speed of 10 m/s, up from 9 m/s in the previous model, and a faster vertical ascend/descend speed of 8 m/s, previously 6 m/s and 4 m/s.

Expertly designed for maximum performance, this product offers responsive and precise control, allowing for extended flight times of up to 28 minutes. Centimeter-Level RTK Positioning

Leveraging high-precision RTK positioning technology, Inspire 3 caters to industries like architecture and surveying with centimetre-level accuracy. Moving beyond traditional GNSS-supported meter-level positioning, RTK enhances flight stability and improves creative efficiency by providing more precise flight-route planning.

The airframe of this product features newly designed stacked ceramic RTK antennas, allowing for triple GNSS capabilities (GPS, BeiDou, and Galileo) and achieving dual-frequency positioning down to the centimetre level. With the option to activate an RTK network or use a D-RTK 2 Mobile Station, users can easily achieve highly precise positioning without the need for additional modules.

By activating internet access on the DJI RC Plus and connecting to an NTRIP server, the Inspire 3 can receive comprehensive data for fast and accurate positioning in RTK-covered areas using custom network RTK.

In areas lacking network RTK coverage, the RTK function can be accessed by configuring a D-RTK 2 Mobile Station. This allows the Inspire 3 to receive extensive data from the mobile station for precise positioning.

Dual-Antenna Orientation

The Inspire 3 features a stacked ceramic antenna on both the front and rear, which enhances flight precision and safety by effectively reducing magnetic interference.

Through the use of Repeatable Routes, the aircraft can autonomously follow the same path and adhere to preset specifications like altitude, speed, gimbal angle, and camera settings. Omnidirectional Sensing System

The Inspire 3 features nine sensors, allowing for a strong omnidirectional sensing system capable of detecting obstacles in all directions and providing full protection during flight. For the first time, each of the four landing arms is equipped with a fisheye camera, preventing obstruction from the airframe when the landing gear is raised and allowing for horizontal obstacle detection when the landing gear is lowered.

Customisable Obstacle Sensing

The updated Inspire 3 now offers a customisable feature to enhance flight safety and allow for increased creative freedom. Users have the option to enable or disable horizontal, upward, and downward obstacle sensing, and can manually set an obstacle alert range according to their specific needs. Even without active avoidance, real-time distance to obstacles can be monitored on the navigation display, with audio alerts for obstacles within a predetermined range. Inspire 3 is equipped with a new 1/1.8-inch-sensor FPV camera with a 3μm pixel size, an ultra-wide DFOV of 161°, and the ability to transmit live feeds at up to 1080p/60fps. Compared to its predecessor, the DFOV is approximately doubled. X9-8K Air's RAW sensor allows for stunning ultra-high-resolution aerial footage, capturing true-to-life textures and colours that impress even on larger screens. Benefit from the abundant space it provides for visual effects and colour grading, enhancing the overall quality of your footage.

Dual Native ISO

DL Mount Lenses

Inheriting DJI’s proprietary DL mount, X9-8K Air is compatible with an additional 18 mm F2.8 full-frame ultra-wide lens and a new telephoto lens (will be released at a later date) on top of the previous full-frame lens selections of DL 24/35/50 mm F2.8. All five lenses are custom-made for aerial cinematography. The housings are made of lightweight, monocoque carbon fibre, so the lightest lens weighs just 178 g, meeting Inspire 3's requirement for ultra-high manoeuvrability.

DJI Cinema Color System (DCCS)

Cinema-Grade O3 Pro Video Transmission

Inspire 3 is equipped with O3 Pro, DJI’s latest cinema-grade video transmission system, which enables a max transmission distance of 15 km in single-control mode and 12 km in dual-control mode. Both the gimbal camera and FPV camera support 1080p/60fps live feeds and an ultra-low latency of 90 ms. [16] Compared to the Lightbridge video transmission system of Inspire 2, O3 Pro has taken a generational leap in transmission distance, latency, and overall stability.

For the first time, 4K/30fps live feeds are also supported with a max 5km transmission distance to meet the needs of UHD monitoring and live streaming on set.

Independent Links for Dual Control

Compared with its predecessor, the dual-control experience of Inspire 3 has been significantly upgraded. Two remote controllers can receive live feeds and control the drone independently, so the pilot and gimbal operator can be at different positions on set. This breaks Inspire 2's limitations of binding the primary and secondary control links.
If the pilot loses the aircraft signal, the gimbal operator is now able to take control of the aircraft to safely return home or land directly.

Supports DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor

In addition to RC Plus, Inspire 3 also allows the use of the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor as a second remote controller. The remote monitor can pair directly with Inspire 3 to receive live feeds, and can even control the gimbal and focus when the Ronin 4D Hand Grips are attached. HDMI and SDI ports on the remote monitor can also output live feeds to other monitoring devices.

Supports DJI Three-Channel Follow Focus

As a member of the DJI PRO ecosystem, the new DJI Three-Channel Follow Focus can transmit control signals to Inspire 3 via the O3 Pro transmission system (this requires a DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor to act as an intermediary device). With Three-Channel Follow Focus, the focus puller can achieve accurate remote focus control and stepless aperture adjustments to deliver an integrated wireless monitoring and control experience.

Supports DJI Master Wheels

When the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor is used as the intermediary for the PRO ecosystem, it allows for the control of Inspire 3's gimbal using DJI Master Wheels. Dual-Battery System

The new TB51 dual-battery system on Inspire 3 utilises advanced battery chemistry technology, enhancing reliability and performance. These batteries have a smaller, lighter design with higher voltage than TB50, providing a maximum flight time of 28 minutes. The redesigned battery release allows for hot swapping and continuous operation, while an auto-heating function ensures proper flight performance in temperatures as low as -20° C (-4° F) when the battery temperature falls below 18° C (64° F).

New Battery Charging Hub

The newly launched collapsible battery charging hub effectively balances charging speed with compactness, making it ideal for travel. It can fit up to eight batteries and can charge two to 90% in just 35 minutes using Fast mode. In just 160 minutes, all eight batteries can be fully charged. The included 65W USB-C port is also compatible with RC Plus charging.

DJI PROSSD 1TB Included

The included DJI PROSSD 1TB supports a max read speed of 900Mbps and the footage can be read on a computer directly through the provided USB-C to USB-C cable without the need for a card reader.
